Today will be a quick news post, which means, sadly, no pictures:

• Vietnam Reborn has a new render of the NVA Amphibious Transport.
• CNC DEN has a new poll, as well as 14 new ZH replays, a ZH mission, some fan art, a war story entitled Handover, and a new Generals map.
• CNC Reborn has a new render and 11.5 MB video of the GDI Barracks.
• An Act of War has a new render of their first Iraqi unit, the Assad Babl 2 Tank. For those of you who don't speak Arabic, that means "Lion of Babylon 2".
• CNCNZ has a new survey online.

Well...Its been a long time since I have had a post in this site and I am generally very very impressed by the work I have seen from the staff here. A lot of regards and best wishes to MicScoTho and all of those old school staff who were here and best of luck for the development. I would also like to apologize as I just disappeared from the site and am unable to maintain constant communication with it but would just generally like to give a thumbs up and pat on the back for all this community has managed to accomplish.

• Operation: Restore Justice, a ZH mod, is complete! Congrats to the team!
• CNC DEN has a new map called Mologu Tiao, by VoodooBenshee.
• Aircraftkiller has made a video showing a recreation of the famous ORCA chase from old time CNC. You can find the 3DS7 file at his website.
• Despite what was originally said, you still have one more week to complete PlanetCNC's current Photoshop AARON! contest. They've also posted a new essay up called Kane's Tiberian Vision. It's good, and I recommend it.
• Red Alert: A Path Beyond has a new render of the Allied APC. See it below:
  
• Road to Moscow has 2 new renders, one of which, the Soviet Battle Bunker, is seen below. The other is the Tesla Coil.
  
• An Act of War has a render of the Patriot PAC-4. It uses nearby radar for targeting assistance.

• CNC DEN has 2 new ZH maps and a Generals one, as well as a ZH mission.
• RA2: Road to Moscow has a new render of the V3.
• Cold War Crisis has a new render of the E3 AWACS.
• CNC Reborn has a new video.
• There's officially two months left to submit your map the Open Map Competition 3!
• Imperial Assault made PCGamer UK for the second time! Congrats to the team!
• Clazzy Rules 2.0, a TS mod, has been released at Savage War.
• An Act of War has a render of the Military Checkpoint up.
• Vietnam Reborn has 4 new renders, including one seen below of the MI4 Hound.
• Blitzkrieg II: The Finest Hour has 3 renders of the Sherman Tank up. The one below is of the Sherman M4A1.
• PlanetCNC's Photoshop THIS! contest now has prizes unofficially from EA. Head here for the latest version.
• For those of you with ATI graphics cards, they have released version 5.5 of their Catalyst Drivers for various operating systems.
• (Thanks CNC DEN) And finally, the picture below is of EA's floor show at E3 Expo. NO news on CNC yet. Maybe the flicker of hope is dying....

We haven't had a major news update in a while, and for that I apologize. Hopefully this one will be a step in the right direction.

• There's a new Server Side AOW library version (1.3.4) released over at Renguard. Some of the fixes are below:

  * BugFix: Exploit Fixes for NoName/HostName/Non Printable Player Names * BugFix: Crates can be disabled now
  * BugFix: GDI not being able to kill "GDI Wreckages"
  * BugFix: Nod not being able to kill "Nod Wreckages"
  * BugFix: Wreckages will no longer be attacked by base defenses
  * BugFix: People no longer get points for repairing wreckages
  * Bugfix: Dropscript for GDI/Nod Flametank fixed
  * New: New server2.ini with updated/added coordinates for crates

• NightShadow has released a Flash video of a GDI assault, led by the Mammoth MKII, on a Nod base. Get it here.
• CNC Reborn has released pictures of their re-done Nod and GDI Refineries. See below:
  
• CNC DEN has a new map called 'Tropical Trap,' as well as 5 new ZH Replays.
• Savage War has a new voxel, for use in TS or RA2, of the Harrier.

• CNC Boss Generals has been released:

  The new Boss is on the street! 18 new maps from 1v1 up to 4v4 · 21 early army combinations · 30 new upgrades and abilities · 6 new and remixed songs · Enhanced 'Boss Hard' AI opponent · Detailed balance system · Enhanced particle effects, like Nuke Napalm and Blood spills.

Well to make up for our lack of releases before the War Factory yesterday, we're throwing you all a render of the Reds Nuke Silo à la RA2. Feel free to check it out at our newly re-vamped screens page, and as always at our ModDB profile. Keep checking back as we'll continue to release stuff throughout the coming weeks.

CNCRenEclips has annouced plans for a Generals: Alpha mod, with the goal being to recreate Generals with some stuff from the Alpha. Sounds interesting, no doubt. They plan on bringing back a number of units and things that were cut, as well as some of the 'Officer Club' extras. More details at the site.

In addition, An Act of War, a Zero Hour mod, has released a great deal of screens and renders at their site. Seen below is the M2A3 Bradley troop carrier, sporting missiles capible of shooting vehicles, buildings, and aircraft.

I've finally uploaded the War Factory render for our mod Command and Conquer: All-Stars. It was modelled by aConcernedCitizen17 and skinned by Luckie. You can see a thumbnail of it below:
