I've extracted all the maps in the .BIG file, and I edit them, yet when I play them in game they're the same as they were originally! Angry

Not sure what's going on, please enlighten me...
Love Bonno.

Where did you extract them to?
If you need help, post in the forum. You'll get help a lot faster than if you send me a PM.

I reject all buddy requests. I don't think 'buddy' needs to be made official. It's not like you're marrying me.

Same place you'd put any downloaded maps, in MyDocuments/GeneralsZeroHourData/Maps, have I done it wrong again? xD

In World Builder, remove the name from Edit/Edit Map Settings, which tells the game that this is a custom map and the map should be shown under Custom Maps.

If you want the official maps to be changed, you need to extract them to your game directory (Standard is C:\Program Files\EA Games\Command & Conquer Generals Zero Hour). The extraction will automatically create a Maps folder in there.

Otherwise, they'll show up in unofficial maps.

So after that I edit the maps, then they appear in the unofficial section or are they in the same list, just edited?

The modified maps, placed in the game directory, will override the originals and will show up in the official section.

That's how mods with custom campaigns are made.
