I've extracted all the maps in the .BIG file, and I edit them, yet when I play them in game they're the same as they were originally! Not sure what's going on, please enlighten me... |

Where did you extract them to? |

I reject all buddy requests. I don't think 'buddy' needs to be made official. It's not like you're marrying me. |

Same place you'd put any downloaded maps, in MyDocuments/GeneralsZeroHourData/Maps, have I done it wrong again? xD |

In World Builder, remove the name from Edit/Edit Map Settings, which tells the game that this is a custom map and the map should be shown under Custom Maps.

The extraction will automatically create a Maps folder in there. Otherwise, they'll show up in unofficial maps. Edited by user Sunday, September 18, 2011 11:11:26 AM(UTC)

So after that I edit the maps, then they appear in the unofficial section or are they in the same list, just edited? |

The modified maps, placed in the game directory, will override the originals and will show up in the official section. That's how mods with custom campaigns are made.
