Our affiliate CNC Series has re-launched with a brand new version 8.0 of their Command & Conquer fansite! The new version of the site sports a fresh, crisp layout and a wide array of new features. Almost all of their old content has been ported over to their new self-coded dynamic content management system. CNCSeries has been online since 2000 -- some may remember it from then as Red 2 World. Here's what Rob had to say about the site's new dynamic features:
The site is awash with dynamic features. You can rate files, sort them in your order, comment, bookmark and do many, many other exciting things. Customise your news for example. All you have to do is register an account - it'll take one minute at the most and you'll also be able to post in the forum.
CNC Series has also posted a new article written by Paul entitled "
False Promises & Future Musings," which discusses the faults of Generals Online, the recent announcement of Red Alert 3, and future hopes for the C&C franchise.
