TWL's the name, mapping's the game.

Here's a whole map screen shot from a map I'm working on, located in Xian, China. Only one day to make this map, I gave it a sort of island look even though it's grassy.

Hey that looks really gut gut lad,,

But you see how scattered your impassable are!!!
Nah they should be solid blocks of red, not scattered like that; I think that could cause your units to get confused and start lagging,,
Because they can still plot paths through it; but not actually pass it,,

Also don’t like it when the roads are straight and uneven use more sections of road but don’t join them all together keep a maximum of about 5 sections per length of road and move them around until they naturally curve no sharp corners,,,
and tactfully join ends together without really joining them about 3cm’s in of the lenghts of 5

But nice layout,,

Also for my ’highlight cool screen shots’ post zoom into area of interest on your maps, put a little angle on the shot ( with mouse wheel pressed down ) and take it,,, without any way points or red areas showing,,

The map below should make a GLA players day, with many network paths to follow, that go all around his side,,, This should!! counter the Totally TECstar base I got on the other side,, hu hu haaa!!!

This map below is going to be a GLA player dream with many many internal network paths to follow, that go all around his side,,, That should counter the totally massive TECstar base I got on the other side,, hu hu haaa!!!

Lad!!! you just repeated what I said,,,

Here is a shot of the reinforcements pads depo from one of my latest maps, that has been entirely made, using the ‘lock angle tool’ which to me! has to be one of my best finds in WorldBuilder to date,, keeps everything within the maps wireframe making it really straight.

Views on turrets map
The corners on the roads are still all pointy and not curved, and 1 layer of buildings is not realistic,, like 2 layers with a garden or court yard area in between,,,

After my ‘fair but hard fort gaming’ replies seem to be getting dogged! by players I know resort to ill planed tactics all the time,,
I have decided to only focus on mapping,

In any case I suppose the only adequate response I can give them, is to? Snub! them and reframe from further debates,

Below is a map I’ve been working on for about 1 year, is going to be a medieval castle when complete,

Is a 4 player map, where all players start inside a large castle with the option to fight for it centre techs or head out side to plan a build up,,,,

Once again the current textures is only used to highlight the map while mouldings taking place, will be a mixture of dark rock when complete,

Am also considering giving it some Towers around the central tech court yard for tomahawk/ long range fire outside the initial combat zone,,,,

That will have cracks and rusty mould detailing on its stone walls,,,

Am also considering making the ground inside uneven and using the mould tool to make the walls all warped looking,,, but will save that version under different name to keep the straight one in tact,,

Will say this again!!! Am using that texture in the pitcher to high light the wall while mouldings taking place,,,,,,,

Other World builder should use this method,

Plot the moulding areas out in a light colour first, too high light them,
When completed add in the real colour,, and try a couple,, match with surrounding ones,,

It could be because of impassable areas, change them in paint texture.

He cant write in English, oh and I've been to London and nobody rambles like that there.
