I reckon all stars wont be huge but splitting the download into many smaller pieces isnt very useful in my opinion, it makes it more annoying for bb users and all 56k users should have a download manager anyways (so annoying when it disconnects!)... i dont think it will be over 100MB, maybe 150-200 if it has music (YOU GUYS HAVE TO ADD THE ORIGINAL RA1 SOUNDTRACK ITS AMAZING)
it is expensive to get proper broadband in rural locations but in cities its so goddamn cheap, only like 10-20% more cost for 1000% the speed...

anyways it should be worth it so im sure the 56kers will download it anyways! 😁

I don't really know much about wireless internet, but correct me if i'm wrong, isn't it possible to get 'Inter Centrino' and wireless broadband in rural area's, i'm getting this 'cos on UK TV there's a Intel Centrino AD where there's some people in Italy or somert, and there on the net.

Some countries (South Korea, Iceland, and I think Finland being the most prominant) feature Internet service almost everywhere.

In urban areas (New York comes to mind) parts of the city are hotspots where the Internet is wireless and free for use. Most apartment buildings have this as well. In places like Alaska, that's definatly not the case.

This mod should be no problem with a download rate of 120kb/s
I don't think that there is much you can do about the size of the mod really because no matter what you do it is still going to be a problem for some people. There are too many factors that affect the rate of download i.e. Download Rate, Location, Internet Service, Cable Quality (or Wireless Quality).
