Yes, as I stated earlier.

That'll be sweet. I just wish we'd somehow be able to do the soundtracks. But it'd probably be like a 500 meg mod. That's no good. 😛

yes, file size is going to be an issue, as we are adding lots of models and other compnents to the mod.

Could you do the MOD in pieces?
Like PART2 and PART2...?
Then it wouldn't look to be that big.

you could. More likely we would do one big mod then add stuff in patches bit by bit.

I think it'd be hard to break up the mod into two huge pieces and then have them somehow come together when you installed em. It could be done, but like blb said, it'd make more sense to release a core download with all the code and such and then patches with models and skins and others with music/ voices etc. That'd make it easier to download.

right. and it would also make it easier to release since we would only have to do the core and then one component at a time.

It'll become more apparent as to how we will do it as the release approaches. For now that's quite a ways down the line.

Is there any tutorials how to make the models work in the game? how do you transport an model into the game?
CommieDog

Just put the model in the [Generals]/Art/W3D folder and add code support to make the model show up for the objects you want when you want.

Heh. I don't think anyone in the world is comfortable with skinning. Its like using a mouse with the other hand.
