I don't think you can deform terrain in Generals.

Sadly, I don't think that's possible. Might be hardcoded (?).

yeah. Engines even nowadays rarely deform ground, i know Frostbite can do it. CoD and Halo don't even do it.

Generals definitely can't, that would've been a major feature that they would've used had they spent the time to code it [i think].
