Its been a while since i played this game because my old pc broke down but now i got a new one. Recently i tried to install C&C Generals on my new pc and when i reached 29% of the installation i got a message that says the following: Error 1305.Error reading from file C:\Program Files\EA Games\Command and Conquer Generals\Speech English.big. Verify that the file exists and that you can acces it. When i click "Again" it goes on with installing but it stays at the same file C:\Program Files\EA Games\Command and Conquer Generals\Speech English.big. and then i get the message again and after 2-3 times the installation is 100% and then i get a message that says the following: Error: -1603 Fatal error during installation. Is the disk scrached at all? That might be causing the problem. The SpeechEnglish.big is a file that only holds speech files. I wouldn't think it wouldn't cause you not to play the game.

The installation starts off with C:\Program Files\EA Games\Command and Conquer Generals\Speech English.big. and it keeps installing that file the whole installation. Oke here are some screenshots of the problem. The first error occurs when the installation is at 29% still installing the Speech English.big.  The second one occurs  The third one occurs  The fourth one occurs  The fifth one occurs The sixth one occurs  and then the last one occurs  |
