I know quite a few of you have been having issues connectiong to EA's servers, both for updating and online play, so I'll take care of he first one. i already have the 1.06 or 8 patch but i cant connect to generals online servers generals is an exception to my firewall and i can get online with my browser and play online red alert 2 ????????i cant understand wats going on help im going through withdrawls

i did the portforward thing the problem started when my brother played renegade online ...still not able to connect i also reset my modem and browser settings...under the advice of my internet provider p.s. btw???

hey i know how you can get the updates its how i got them as well. just tell game to play online and it will automatically play updates. |

Try re installing RA2, because it does something weird if you don't check the "register for internet" box for RA2/renegade. |

that link is no longer in use. it just sends you to there home website. i seem to have a problem kinda like this. i just reinstalled generals zero hour because it wouldnt patch...
it still just tries to find file 65540_65536_english.rtp after about 30 seconds it says not such file and closes out.
i have 56k dial-up is it that or is there something else... and is there some way to get around it because it wont get online

Is there another website available?

Ok this is annyoing i can play all the time lan with my brother on generals and we play all the time. But we got bored and wanted to play zero hour and my messege came up and said updating... then it says unable to connect to the internet so i downloaded these updateds and it let me and my brother join but when we tried to play it timed out or he couldnt connect or i couldnt and this got annyoing my port is static my computer is a windows 7 i feel as if i got really ripped of buying this game we have 2 LEGIT copies and numbers for online please help :(...HELP SOS
