You can't create new units in a map.ini
But you can change existing and unused ones, like the CINE_ units.
Just remove all the old modules add your new ones and you should be able to do it. |

I'm NO Sure , But Once I have Named a Unit Wrong and Nothing Happened (No Crashes) : Tomahawk > Tommahawk ... In which I think This is Impossible BECAUSE ... World Builder Won't Support Map.ini ! You Can NOT Set the Unit ... You Can NOT Also Spawn the Unit ... I haven't Tried yet but maybe (& Just Maybe) You can use it in an OCL . But I'm no sure ... I'm Right = 05% < 95% = I'm Wrong |
Asking is Not a Problem , Problem is Not to Know Something .
Operation : Dark Angel Static : Launch Delayed Reason : Uncool Terrain - Old Logic in use - Lack of Performance Status : Applying new Terrain - Applying new Logic - Increasing Performance by 300% |

No, you cannot make new objects. You can as, SkyMix_RMT said, modify CINE_ units. Then again, map.ini is very finnicky and sometimes outright will not work. So there. However, I do not think you can use custom .w3d files since it's always rooted to read from Art/W3D. Edited by user Friday, September 29, 2017 3:13:31 PM(UTC)
