Just thought there should be a spot in the forums with a loist of CINE units and what they do or thier differences from regular units. :) I only have America's CINE units memorized, so maybe someone could add China, GLA, etc.
Cine units are units that are created specificly and only for use in cinematic sequences where there's literally hundreds of these dudes running around, or ones that look better because you'll be seeing them up-close. They can have some rather bizzarre differances, like shooting through walls, INSANE weapon range, or just more refined animations (or glitchy animations).
USA Cine Units (Infantry and buildings): CINE_AmericaInfantryColonelBurton: A Burton with no upgrades, and a weird firing animation. CINE_AmericaInfantryPilot: From the original Generals, standing animation is replaced with a surrendering animation. CINE_AmericanInfantryPathfinder: See the typo by the creators there? A non-cloaked Pathfinder that lays down, weapon range seems to reach across almost the whole map for a large square map. CINE_AmericaInfantryBiohazardTech: Not sure, never used this unit. CINE_AmericaInfantryOfficer: Same, never used him. CINE_AmericaInfantryRanger: Ranger with INSANE weapon range, but still can't engage airborn units. CINE_USA04_PARADROP_AmericaInfantryRanger: Used in mission four for all the Rangers paradroping into the airfield. Incredibly messed-up animations, but, oddly enough, that's it.
CINE_AmericaParticleCannonUplink: Never used it, I'm guessing that it's a Particle Cannon with a shorter charge time.

Adding Something.. Cine_AmericaInfantryColonelBurton : a unit that had weird Cut-animation in placing a bomb ,used in mission 5 of gla Generals without any expansion pack

CINE_AmericanInfantryPathfinder: yah never used since the release of the original release , but since it has a done,good animation that can be used if your a modder

AmericaInfantrySecretService: a unit that been never used ,a undone unit with a silly animation ...when walking he is just like sliding in the ground like a ghost, he had a gun but he doesnt use it because of undone animation |
