Ive tried so many techniques on making zero hour work for win7 64-bit.

IT WONT FRICKEN WORK!

Can you guys help me pls.
Ive done that thing where you create an "options.ini" text file and fill it with the settings but even after that i still wont work.
Ive also changed the shortcut settings to run in XPSP3 compatibility and run as admin and also disabling visual themes.

GAH its so frustrating.

I would see if you had the newest patch available... If having a newer patch doesnt work i would try looking here, here or here

no it still doesnt work. ive tried all the suggestions on each of those threads. Im starting to think this problem needs to be addressed by EA with a mini patch but i doubt that will ever happen.

That's quite odd, I haven't had any problems with Gen/ZH on either of my computers with Win7 x64; one has Ultimate and the other Home Premium.

My opinion would be to uninstall the game, remove all folders in Documents and Program Files (x86) and then install a program entitled CCleaner: http://www.piriform.com/
and using the registry cleaning part of the program, remote any references to Gen/ZH.
Finally, reinstall Gen/ZH by opening the disk for viewing the files and right-clicking on the installer and telling it to Run as Administrator.

Hey Phe0n1x, I have another issue I have been trying to get addressed for quite a while. It is under "Issue with graphics" in this same forum folder. Could you answer my question as well (sorry for posting in another forum, I just needed to get your attention).

Thank-you and have a nice day. Smile
