Hello guys,

As far as I the new Transformers movie was released on the 4th of July in the USA.

Im a crazy fan of the Transformers since I was born! BuzzyExcited[:-jump2]ExcitedBuzzy So I would like to know what do you think about this movie. In Germany it will be release in August.

Storyline I'd give it a 4/10 basicly the story line is that there are robots that disguise themselves as cars that fight other robots that disguise themselves as other stuff and cars.. Everything else seemed like they just "winged it."

graphics 8/10 realistic but the camera shakes alot when showing fight scenes so you can't see the faults but sometimes makes it hard to see what's happenning.

Overall I'd give it a 7/10 good if you want to see some robot fighting action, great if you like the series.

I saw it a few days ago. Honestly, some parts were just amazing and I loved it, and others were just very corny, and others were just plain dumb. It was a big mix of everything you love and hate, in my opinion.

I really wished they had taken a more serious approach, because everytime I got into the story, something corny happened. I didn't mind humor, and people like the kid and the girl all that much, (They were really funny) but with some robots having emotions, (Especially that small superhacker, cracking it's knuckles and bashing it's head on the wall?) and the FBI agent, and robots getting in the way of the FBI to save the kid and everything, it was just so corny... Think of it as a "Stealth". Cool concept, but just not done that well in some areas.

On the otherhand, some parts were just amazing. That beginning with the chopper was cool, and that scorpion in the sand chasing the people, and lots of the slow-mo parts. This is a movie you would enjoy more in the theater than on DVD because of the surround sound system.

It is very hard to rate this movie, but i'm going to give it a B. It could have easily gotten an A+ if it took a more serious approach and the storyline was better. Still, the visuals and sound effects are very well done. It still isn't topping Lord of the Rings for me, but it is probably worth seeing because it is an above average movie, so I vote "great".

Lol...what everyone said is pretty true regarding the story. The secret agent part was retarded. The movie would have been in my top 5 all time if it was more dramatic and had more in depth human military action.
For me though...bottom line...the action combined w/my nastalgia made the movie a definite winner.Approve

Sorry to bump this old topic, but I just saw the Movie. And now I can finally vote in the Poll.
The movie was awesome! Great action scenes.

The one in the beginning who shot Soundwaves or something, that robot walker would be so cool for GDI.
And the Scorpion robot in the desert, that would suit Nod. ;)
