I mean they're awesome and powerful but some how it's not with that ugly appearance.

I am thinking about a plane than big and realistic and not fat.

Something like this. What do you think? I am trying to make a mini editing and supreme edition

Mini edition is available in airfield Have 3 standard weapons. Auto cannon, Cannon gun and Howitzer gun.
Standard edition is a big one that will be built separately with bigger hangar. The ship will have 12 equipment slots to install which player can choose to maximum 3 slots. Your choice, from a 20mm gun to 150 mm gun, a missile and rocket also a bomb with various styles.

Supreme version is similar to Mini edition but big like standard version. Use for replace the spectregunship in the game.

HOWEVER.

It's a very simple ship-- not without all that fancy customization. It seems too difficult to implement anyway.
It only has two weapons... Since there'd be little to no reason to add a smaller cannon- it just has the Howitzer and Machinegun.

I understand you. Hate many things too in Zero Hour. I like it modern and realistic, not futuristic how Zero Hour in standard is. Hence I remove or change all units and upgrades which are to futuristic.
SpectreGunship is one of them. Hope the answer from Zatsupachi will help you.

Thanks. I may edit to add the 3rd weapon the scatter missiles, required to reload on airfield. So it fires 12 missiles only once scatter around the target focus to kill infantry and ground vehicles.

Eh. The Spectre is far from the one of the worst-looking things in Zero Hour to me. I do like the general artstyle Zero Hour has. For the most part Zero Hour goes with plausible modern-looking tech with a few still-semi-plausible futuristic units/buildings mixed in, with the majority of the futuristic-ish designs going towards the USA, which makes sense given their faction design (and how the USA irl is one of the most technology advanced countries).


The faction design EA was going for is pretty decent to me, though I wouldn't say it was all executed as well as it could have been.

USA concept - Very good all-around, their units are intended to be the best on a 1-vs-1 basis but they by far have the most expensive stuff. They also have air supremacy and by far the best and generally most futuristic tech.

USA reality - Rockvees everywhere for early-game, and still in late-game. Defenses are pretty meh unless you're SupW or Laser. Air force is very difficult to use unless it's Air Force general or SupW Aurora Alphas. But MOST of their units are still the most futuristic and tend to fare best 1-on-1 than the other faction's.


China concept - Middle ground in terms of units when it comes to 1-one-1. Focuses primarily on swarming their enemies with sheer numbers. On paper they'd probably be the easiest faction to play.

China reality - All over the place to say the least. Vanilla Battlemasters are a joke and there ends up being a huge reliance on Bunkerlixes and Black Napalm MiGs. They're also the slowest faction in Zero Hour and suffer when it comes to scouting and economy.


GLA concept - Units are by far the weakest on a 1-on-1 basis, but they excel at stealth and hit-and-run tactics. They're extremely mobile and hard to stomp out. No aircraft.

GLA reality - The concept is fairly intact aside from the GLA occasionally being able to best other factions in terms of sheer raw power instead of stealthiness. They tend to have the only main tank force worth actually using aside from China Nuke and China Tank (Crusaders and vanilla Battlemasters are near-useless. Paladins are good Scorpion-deterrents but they cost a General's Point). GLA Toxin and Demo are considerably OP in certain aspects however.

Actually the models are not that BAD , You can have a look at the Generals3 Teribium.and 3+ They are really ... I don't know how to say , Somewhat Horrible ; the first time I played C&C Generals , I could not think after Generals 1 and ZH pack , Generals 3 , 4 , ... Would be Like That But any ways ...
You are right , Some of the Models and textures could be Much Better than What they are . Hope You Find Your Favorite Models and Textures ;-)

RA3, Tiberium 3 is bad. People are looking for something more realistic than beyond futuristic version.

(I actually like RA3, it's actually more tactical than Generals: Zero Hour, mainly because every unit has an ability beyond their usual functions and that MBTs are mostly Tier 2- so no Soviet Tank Rush like in RA2-- The Japanese can infantry rush, but it's a really ballsy tactic to make work.)

As for 3d models, their around the same quality as they are Generals(look at the Century Bomber), masked under the cooler effects of the updated SAGE 3d engine. Heck even Generals a ton of graphical errors.

Saying that their bad because of it being unrealistic and futuristic is not a valid point.

It's more of a art style choice, which really you can't fault it for. Was the Red Alert series beyond the first game ever super serious?
