In Worldbuilder.
It looks normal in closer look but when I try to look far, it looks like the water is all over. Sad Sad Sad Sad Sad

My Problem. Help!

It isn't suppose to be like this in top view

In closer look in the left

then

It looks like the land has only fixed dimension in every move.

Can you help me how to fix this? Go back to the default World Builder?

Hi, what i know when you go to the outer edge of the map you see some lines around the map, like brown and blue, the blue one is for water , click on it and you got a new pop up screen, there you can adjust the water height, when you make a standerd map the hight is about 16, so when you wanna make water you can go till 7 or 8 high when you go higher the whole map flows.
when you make a new map you can better raise the map till lets say 100 and then you can make
lower places in the map so you can raise the water.
you can also create seperat water spots in world builder its the sign next to the level down button in the left upper corner.
hope this help a bit
greetings ron

i think what he's saying is that when he zooms out, it starts to look like the whole map is covered in water. i'm pretty sure this is a world builder glitch, and not much can be done about it:/

You could try deleting the default water zone, or moving it out from under your map

Thanks Ron.

But Rrtaya_tsamiyu is right.
I tried deleting the default water zone but still stays the same. The covered part is still disappearing when zooming out. :((

Anyway, Thank you guys. I appreciate it. :)
Anyone, help please?

Welcome. You could also try running world builder in different compatibility modes, not sure if that would help or not. Encase you're concerned about it, this disappearing terrain shouldn't happen in-game, or have any corrupting effects on the map.

hmm, did you try running it in compatibility mode already? i would try the windows vista SP2 and XP compatibility modes before going through the trouble of reinstalling the whole game.

This isn't a glitch. World builder doesn't always render the whole map. This is to prevent lag. It does the same thing in game, but it isn't noticeable because you're always zoomed in.
If you need help, post in the forum. You'll get help a lot faster than if you send me a PM.

LOL guys don't make him reinstall ZH! :P
you simply go to (in worldbuilder):

View - Show all of 3d Map [make it selected]

also this is possible to make whole map visible in game.
just look in gamedata.ini
