I do these steps http://www.ehow.com/list...zero-hour-pc-cheats.html and I make backups. I make mistake and I already back the INIZH file up. But When I change the edited one to the back up one. The game still won't run. Any suggestion on how to fix this?

1) Disable user account control if you have it. It messes with changes to program files. 2) Reinstall. 3) If you'd like working cheats like those, use mods. There's a tutorial here: http://www.cnclabs.com/f...posts&t=9305&p=1Most games are designed to be modding friendly, so you don't even have to edit existing game files. Thanks. But when I re install the game I have the same issue? What should I do? I am just only changing INI file or I also change the INI in the CD? Can't you just give me the modded INI file?

Uninstall again, remove all files from "Documents\Command and Conquer Generals Zero Hour Data" and "C:\Program Files\EA Games\Command & Conquer Generals Zero Hour" or wherever you installed it.
Then install. If it still crashes, then the cause of the crash is plainly not to do with the game. |
