Select and download your custom map for RA3 (visit our downloads section, select a map and choose the Download option to the right of each map)

When the download is complete, you should find the compressed file in your own downloads directory [UserName]->Downloads.

Extract the map folder from the .zip file to the following path:

C:-> Users -> [UserName] -> AppData -> Roaming -> Red Alert 3 -> Maps

When you run the game - the newly downloaded map should show up in your map list, in the in-game selection area.

Hi again,

Also you say "...the newly downloaded map should show up in your map list, in the in-game selection area" Just exactly WHERE is that in RA3? Is it the Skirmish area?

Thanks JQ

Well. Begin by double left-clicking on the little picture of a Monitor screen that should be on your desktop, labelled "Computer"

This should open up a screen showing all the drives your system has.

Double left-click on the drive that is labelled C: (or Local Disk C:)

You should then see a list of folders. Again use double left-click, this time on the Users Folder.

That will open up another screen showing a list of folders for all the users who have login accounts on your computer.

Using the above method, continue until you arrive at the folder you are looking for. Big Smile

Hi Major,

Yeah I've done that several times but I NEVER see the "Roaming OR Maps" folder. There is a C:\\RA3 folder that the game loaded into which has the following folders; Data, Game Spy, Launcher, Patches, Support, Trailers. I also can see a "RA3 Saved" games folder??

Then that suggests that the folders are hidden.

When you click on the Computer Icon on your desktop - the window that opens to show you your C: drive, has a menu bar across the top [File Edit View Tools Help]

Choose the Tools option, then the Folder Options option.

You will see 3 tabs at the top of the next sceen: General, View and Search. Click on the view tab.

Under the entry for Hidden Files and Folders, make sure that Show Hidden Files, Folders and Drives is checked:

Click Apply/OK then try looking for those folders once more.
