Col. Burt, Production Support Technician, have posted a little update about the patch 1.6, here's his post,

The 1.6 patch has pas-sed our internal QA and is now at headquarters going through their test process.

I don’t have a time frame for this, but if they don’t find any show stoppers we should see the patch released soon.
