C&C 3: The Forgotten 1.1 Patch Released

The Forgotten are back--again! Fresh off finishing #3 in the Singleplayer Mod of the Year category and garnering tens of thousands of downloads, the team has released patch 1.1 for the mod, with a host of bug fixes and some minor balance improvements so that the world of The Forgotten can come alive in even more realistic and immersive ways. You can see the full change log here. For those of you who are new to the mod, it features a story-driven campaign, HD Full Motion Videos, and the chance to lead a rebellion no one thought possible.

C&C 3: The Forgotten's v1.1 Trailer Released

In advance of the coming 1.1 release of C&C 3: The Forgotten, the team has a brand new trailer to show off, featuring some of the mod's stunning environments, intense combat, and numerous accolades. Pictures speak louder than words, and videos louder than pictures:
The 1.1 release is undergoing final testing and should be ready next week. The Forgotten staff--80 people spread across the planet--greatly appreciate your support in the Mod of the Year 2010 contest!

The Forgotten's Soundtrack Released, and Mod of the Year Phase II

In celebration of the nomination of our in-house mod, The Forgotten, into Phase II of the Mod of the Year contest--as an international award-winning mod featuring the first HD cinematics and full campaign in C&C modding, we appreciate your vote--we're releasing the second in our The Making of The Forgotten series, as well as the complete, much-praised soundtrack to the mod. This time, we're showcasing an article by Jeffrey Holley, the composer for the mod, on the process of composing The Forgotten's theme song. It's a must-read for anyone interested in music, game development, or the intersection between the two. Here's a snippet:
