Outlaw's Revenge

I have added sounds to the map. Crickets now will be heard at your bases. A cold wind as you cross the bridges, a random explosion can be heard, Air-raid sirens and a Hoot Owl near your base. As you cross the bridge waves can be heard. Bases are lit up at night. All prison camps can be heard hard at work with Oil Derricks. This is a nice map for four players. Lots of Islands with Oil Derricks on them. Beware of the snipers that guard them. If you're the Americans don't count on paratroopers everytime. The prison camps will most likely take your plane out before it gets there. The prison camps have Oil Derricks, a nuke plant and a Civilian Hospital. You will have to fight to get to it. Also there are Yuris and spies in prison there. In the burning city there are bunkers at every entrance to a bridge, but in order to garisson your troops in them you will have to hunt down the Snipers. They wont be to happy to see you! There are plenty of resources for you, but be careful not to spend too much, because your enemy can cut you off from the rest of the ore & gems on other Islands.

Urban Crush

A split city with moderate resources spread reasonably liberally. In 6 player mode, resources are tight and Oil Derricks should be sought out and protected quickly. Certain players may be shielded, and so the map is not deemed totally 'fair', plus a few players have a severe height advantage. . .

Armegeddon

All start locations in this detailed city are connected to each other with lots of bridges. The city is divided by a canal and each player has a place to build a Naval Yard surrounded by cliffs and buildings. There are not many tech buildings on the map. Each player has 1 Oil Derrick and 1 tech Airport.

If you want to enjoy the extra sounds like owls near the church, fountains in the city etc., you should turn of the music.

Island Hoppers is pretty self-explanatory. Very large, with goodies in the corners and the larger islands in the middle. Make good use of those V3s and Prism Tanks. I play with mods a lot so I find this map to be pretty strategic, but I dont like using the superweapons though, then its just too easy. I would like to see the Iron Curtain and the Chronosphere reduced to tech level 9. Think about it.

Country Derricks

Set in a small country region, in the middle of nowhere, this map is quite good for MegaWealth, but is just as good at battle and free for all.
The map includes many Oil Derricks, 3 at the rear of each base, and 3 surrounding the bases (easily destroyed) 1 on each corner of the lake, 7 on the central air-access only island.
There is a small gemfield in each base, 4 patches of ore, medium gemfield in central air-access only island, 4 tech Airports, several strucures to garrison and four derelict tanks to look at! (Oh, there is a Mr Yummy's hot dog stand up north, it's on fire!)

Tip: War Factories for both sides are included in each persons base. This is so that players can use Nighthawk transport to get to the island in the middle. There are several Oil Derricks on the island, and a gem field, with space for a single Ore Refinery. You can only access this island by air.

Mayen Melee

CV's for each side near starting points enable "Unholy Alliance" type gameplay in other battle modes. Bases are easily defendable against ground attacks with a single access point guarded by huts. All garrisonable structures hold more units than normal, are harder than usual to destroy, and are click-repairable (same method as repairing base structures) while garrisoned. This includes the steel-reinforced outhouses with subterranean gunports (all bases needing latrines) close to your base. ;-)

Ore near starting positions does not regenerate, so be sure to capture as many Oil Derricks as possible. They provide far more income than normal and are worth defending. Map contains other goodies: nuclear reactors, tech Airports, and various other surprises. (Warning: some buildings are guarded by static defenses and/or alligators.) Loaded pickup trucks deliver crates when destroyed. Radar map immediately comes online at the start of the game (though you'll still have to build an AFC or Radar to get units depending on those structures).

As war rages between the Allies and the Soviets, something inexplicable begins to happen. In the midst of unrelated battles, an uninvolved third faction piloting Tesla tanks is seen appearing in a flash of Chronospheric energy, and they proceed to stalk any thick-shelled amphibious reptiles they can find.
Are they aliens making use of both Allied and Soviet technologies for their own amusement? Are they sportsmen from a future in which their quarry no longer exists? Is this the corniest introduction you've ever had the priviledge of reading? Well, you may call them what you will, but their survivors refer to them as...
The Turtle Hunters
The Turtle Hunters (version 1.00) is a two-player map in an urban setting. Resources are moderate to high, with 10 total Oil Derricks and two Neutral Ore Refineries available for capture.
This is designed to be a ground-war map and units are limited as such. The Allies can build up to two Harriers or Black Eagles and up to four Rocketeers. Soviets can own no more than three Kirovs at a time. In addition, the Weather Controller, ChronoSphere, Iron Curtain, and Nuke Silo have been disabled. Depending on response by playtesters and early feedback from other players, I may enable the ChronoSphere and Iron Curtain in a future revision, so if you have an opinion one way or the other, let me know.
For reasons which may become apparent during play, I highly recommend that you play this map against human opponents. If you do play skirmish on this map, do yourself a favor and set the AI to brutal. Take my word for it, you'll probably still win, as the AI doesn't seem to adapt too well to certain situations... Oh, and just a friendly reminder: Your troops and base defenses must be commanded to fire on Neutral units, because they will only do so automatically in order to defend themselves.

8 easily defendable bases. A few suprises scatterd around. Resources are plentiful, but are exhaustable. Pretty even map however, different starting positions lend different stratagies. Plenty of choke points should stop any tank rushing. Air power could be your friend or foe! Have fun!

Graveyard Shift

Everyone starts close to the entrance of a graveyard, around midnight. Each player has a field of ore and a field of gems located on each side of the start location. You can find more gems inside the graveyard's walls but beware.....this graveyard is HAUNTED by the ghosts of a small group of scouts and they are doomed to patrol on this graveyard, attacking everybody who disturb their graves.

Darkness Befalls The City

A lot of effort was taken into making this map by the D@S-WhupAss Team. This map took over a month's time. The team has played this map considerably. It has been played over and over to ensure there are no real bugs. Plus it is quite large. It is meant for 8-player free-for-all play. It is not a 2-4-player map, but it could be played that way. The layout was engineered first, and then came the artsy top. You will especially enjoy the artwork and attention facilitated to make this map. The terrain will be especially appealing. There are plenty of buildings to use for defensive strategy. It is tight with all AI units up against you in free-for-all. The real goals are around the center, which are for you to figure out just what they are. This map is not for novice players; money is not just handed to you. Hope you guys and gals enjoy the map. (If you have a slower system, less than 700MHZ with a good graphics card, ensure speed is set at 6 and 'visual details' are low.)

Bloodshed
Skirmish 4 Players
This is a heavily modded map.
The defence systems of your base can be built a lot further away from any of your buildings and they are trainable, meaning they will turn to veterans and elites, along with all the buildings in the middle and the four Lighthouses - just like your units do.
The build speed has been turned up slightly for faster battles.
The Mirage Tank will disguise its self as one of the trees on the map not the usual ones.
There will be at least 10 Crates on the map at one time and their goodies will affect a wider area.
The most noticeable parts of my modding will be that you can still build and capture the Iron Curtain and Chronosphere with super weapons turned off.

There's a nice stretch of water running along the outside of the map along with several Oil Derricks ready for capture. Plenty of gems to start off with in the middle, with buildings to garrison so that your harvesters have some protection. I'm sure you'll find out the rest for yourselves.

Tip: Build a small Navy for a pre-attack then send in the tanks.

Great for land and sea battles. Capture the buildings near your base for protection. Fly to the middle and capture the buildings there. Watch for air attacks.
Tip: If battles get out of hand then blow up the bridges.

This map is in New York as it has the statue of liberty. The top 3 players will find many buildings to garrison although the bottom will only have a few because it is meant to be a giant recreational park. There are a few sounds from triggers. One being by a zoo which has escaped animals. Although ore amounts are uncommon you can still mantain a steady flow of cash by using the Oil Derricks. Also this is a mod where Russia has many modifications and the allied countries have only a few.

Highway To Hell

You start either in the top right corner or the low left corner with your ally next to you.
There are many many Oil Derricks around, scattered all over the city. The gems are located more in the center of the map, where you can also find the Pentagon. (Put some soldiers in there for the option to build navy seals)
There is some traffic moving around the city. (Couldn't make it too much because it slows down the map) Added some sound triggers like traffic, birds etc...

Strength In Numbers

It is essentially the same layout as Darkness Befalls. It takes on a new twist. Two things are added, one benefits the Soviets and one benefits the Allies. You will like the artwork and attention put in this map. The terrain is awesome. There are plenty of buildings to use for defensive strategy. It is excellent with AI units up against you in 'free-for-all', plus 'combat' is awesome on this. The real goals are around the center, which are for you to figure out just what they are. San Francisco

This is a map of San Francisco. I tried to make it very detailed.
You will find the City-Hall, Union Square, Fishermans Wharf, Transamerica Pyramid (new graphics included) Golden Gate Bridge, Coit Tower and a lot of other stuff.

To play the map simply extract sanfran.mmx the ecache9.mix and the expand09.mix to your RA2 main directory then run the game and select the 'missing:san francisco' entry.

Cascades

There are waterfalls here and they cascade down the mountainside. Designed for a great east vs west multiplayer war each player starts on a plateau but to get at the good resources your miners will have to travel a bit.

Tip: Grab the Derricks in the middle of the map but be a bit careful
how you go about it as they aren't free.

Haunted Forest v1.0

Moments after deploying your CY, a flaming apparition appears in your base. A skeleton appears at the exit ramp from your base. Cries of soldiers eternally reliving the anguish of their last battles and other ominous sounds alert you that something is not quite right before even leaving the safety of your base. Welcome to Wildefire's Haunted Forest where ghosts lurk, lying in wait to ambush your forces and recruit them into their Undead Army. These ghosts are not always successful in turning your units against you, but their attack is so demoralizing that units forget their original orders, requiring your leadership to get them moving again. Even the heavens storm in anger whenever any of these foul abominations appear and disappear, as they often do before your very eyes. Your ground forces are forced to brave the forest without any air support because air units cannot penentrate the supernatural aura surrounding the forest. Only dogs, a commander's best friend, and terror drones have the preternatural vision needed to unveil these ghastly entities before your units wander into their range. But even dogs and drones find it difficult to attack these ethereal creatures, often needing to be ordered more than once to attack. There is no hope of permanently ridding the forest of ghosts as you cannot permanently kill what is already dead -- or Undead. Just fight your way through to your more earthly opponents.
