I installed the Forgotten version 1.0 and then 1.1 into C&C3. However, there's something odd when running the latest version of the Forgotten mod. No matter if I play as GDI or any other faction versus GDI in a skirmish mode on any official skirmish map and even custom skirmish maps (even the Forgotten), the game crashes back to the desktop with a Direct 3D error "Out of Memory" message. It also happened when I win a skirmish mode as GDI. Has anyone experienced this? There are also a few times when playing as Forgotten in skirmish mode, the game crashes when the Forgotten wins a skirmish. There is no problem playing the entire Forgotten campaign in all missions. Supposedly if this becomes an issue (if others are having the same problem), a patch must be dealt with immediately for this mod.

I haven't heard of that with our mod, though I know that can occur if something is corrupted in C&C 3, especially if you've played another mod which didn't properly uninstall itself or which is conflicting. I recommend uninstalling and reinstalling The Forgotten at the very least, and perhaps C&C 3 as well. You can just download the 1.1 full version directly and use that when you reinstall to keep things simple.

[/quote] well heres another game crash I will notify yall about my game (after I changed default low\medium settings to ultra\high settings) can no longer go back to default\low\very low settings (even though y'all recommend this game does play on higher settings than the normal CNC3 settings... still!) when I try to this pops up Could not open file 'data\towminimapgdi.manifest' because it is corrupted or not availble. reinstall the game from the original source. 31 addresses: (unknown)(0): cnc3game.dat+36323 Debug:prestaticinit+2306 ... and 30 more statements I will not type since I cannot copy n paste. .. I just re read the game crash , I am assuming now to reinstall the original CNC 3 game now? also the in game profiles -> transmission log. the 3 videos I have listed on there are... listed as Nod 20 (kane invites you to the future) Scrin 03, Scrin 04. (ai rebels against manipulator to save mission..) some of the infantry do not shoot no matter what I do. (I read this same problem somewhere else but I've forgotten already if there was any mention of a solution or a 'we can't fix that' kinda statement) and I hope I made sense.

If you want to change graphic settings, you'll have to do it outside the mod.

The bug with the Longhorn is due to how EA coded the engine, and there is nothing we can do about it, unfortunately.
