I made an AoD map and when I play it, I dont hear music. Sounds yes, but music is just not playing and it is not playing only on this map. Why? How I enable music in that map? [sad]

No, because when I looked on the other maps where the music plays, there is no music script, so I thought the problem is else. How should I use it?

Music scripts are part of the default scripts that load into a map at the beginning of a skirmish or multiplayer game if the players are listed in the correct order and scripts are only placed in the PlyrCivilian folder. Some custom maps have these tracks added, which can be extracted out of the default scripts. Here's the default skirmish scripts, which you can load into a blank map then extract out the PlyrCivilian folder to get the music. Note: You'll need to check that flags are triggered to get music started. If you need the scripts for Generals, you can find them on the program side of the game under C:\Program Files\EA Games\Command and Conquer Generals\Data\Scripts\SkirmishScripts.scb.

Hmm, that could be the problem Drummin, because I dont have scripts only in PlyrCivilian, I also have some scripts for GLASkirmish, because it is not an ordinary skirmish ap, its an AoD map. I will try to move them to PlyrCivilian folder and I will tell you if it works. PS: The link is broken :(

AH, wait a minute...I was happy, because when I deleted those scripts from SkirmishGLA, then the music plays and I thought, that if I put them into PlyrCivilian, the music will be still playing, but then the scripts wont work. But I need those scripts... I also tried to make a new player and transfer scripts to him, but that didnt work too. Where should I put them? Or what should I do? Or is there a music script?

Now wait a sec... I said to export these script into a blank map. Then export the PlryCivilian folder and put this into your map. I hope you didn't lose your GLA script work. SO from what you said, you have a normal player list with all factions for this map even though it's for an AOD map and if there are not any files in the player folders (other than civilian) the default script loaded and you hear music. This in not what you want. I just extracted the civilian folder for you. Hopefully you can recover what you had and place these script in the civilian folder.

Yeah, but when I tried to import those scripts (so then I could export PlyrCivilian) it lagged my computer [grin] Anyway, I restored my backup, placed those Civilian scripts you send me and now it COMPLETELY WORKS ! Thank you VERY MUCH Drummin [smile] [grinning] [+1]
