High everyone
I've been working on my first single player map in which your surposed to assassinate a guy but the stupid map keeps starting me as the wrong damn team!
Does anyone know about any scripts or stuff that can get you to start as the gla.
Thanks.[grin]

Sounds like you're making a mission rather than a skirmish map. Is that correct?

Yeah but i,ve remade this mision at least 3 times and it still makes me us instead of GLA.

I haven't really played with making a mission map but I believe your wouldn't have any start positions. You would make a new player for yourself in the Edit Player List area and place your buildings belonging to this team. So if you make a player called Human, you'll set your buildings to belong to teamHuman. Then in the PlyrCivilian folder, you'd make a script to tranfer teamHuman to you at the start of the game.

I added a new palyer and everything but now my game doesent see the map, aswell i just remembered that the last time i loaded the map it looked like the ground had been painted black. Do you know what could cause that?

You need to specify which players are controlled by human or AI. So in the Player List, make sure, Is Player computer-controlled, isn't checked on the player that you intend to be. All the other players need to have that checked. Otherwise, you may be a player you don't intend to be, which sounds like what's happening on your map.

The map is black because somewhere along the way, the map was resized to 50x50. Change to 120x120 using the bottom-left anchor square.
You might want to look over your player list, specifically the player alliances. Go through each player and set the player relationship. Right now GLA doesn't view player American as the enemy or the human player as an ally. I also don't think the Human player should be allied with the Civilian player. The Civilian player should be neutral to all players.
Your "Jerman kell" unit is very close to the map boundary line. I needed to hide my control panel to select him. You might want to move him or resize the map again adding more area to the bottom of the map.

Ah don't do that!
Remove the download from the post and hang on to your work.
Hey, life is always changing and you might get the time to continue your project at a later date.
