am trying to put the usa supply centre on a timer. coz they can use the hellycopters to fly over my no rush river but when i do that it cant build the usa war factory coz it needs the use supply center. coz i put 4 china supply centres on my so they can be capture. so when u capture the china supply centre and be able to build the uas war factory can u help plz [ATTACH]70[/Attach]

I don't believe capturing a China suppy center will allow you to build a USA war factory.

1. Go into Edit->scripts. 2. Create a new script in the Civilian folder (if you don't have a civilian folder, go into edit->Edit Player List... and click Add Skirmish Players, then start these instructions again). 3. Click actions if true->New 4. In the drop down list, choose [Map]Adjust the tech tree for a specific object type. 5. You should see a '???' becomes Buildable (Yes) below the drop down. Click the '???' and choose AmericaWarFactory. 6. Click the 'Buildable (Yes)' and change it to 'Buildable (Ignore_Prerequisites)' Done. If you are playing online, you may also wish to use the Buildable (No) for the superweapons. Map.ini code generally causes mismatches when you are playing online. Also, you may want to put the war factory on a timer to stop rushes. The American AI may not work under these circumstances. So if it doesn't you might want to set the American Supply Center as Buildable (Only_By_AI).

OMG thanx kida my map is done now it works. but i put the gla on just to test it and they were starting to build stuff but china was not so how can i get it to work on skimish game one player. coz i thought u have to do way points an that for them to start building now do i do it plz colone i cant find it wot it under kida. map,skimish or ?

Are you trying to adjust the tech tree for a specific object type? That's found under [Map]. As you're using Generals, I'd go with the map.ini file as Pi suggested. As far as China not building... did you add InnerPerimeter and OuterPerimeter areas to your bases? Are they seperate and NOT overlapping?

Look at Pi's post carefully. I just went through his steps and it's all there. You'll find these objects as in 'Command_ConstructAmericaVehicleChinook' by scrolling down your list of object buttons.

Didn't you have a delay timer for the water to drop? Wasn't this the time you'd want to be able to build chinooks again? Use that timer OR make a new timer.

all u have to do is press an hold ctrl then print Screen button then u go to paint and then past it and save as jpg

You can press [ALT]+[PRT SC] if you only want to capture the active window and not your entire view with the desktop and taskbar.

Man! All that goes on between the times I check these forums! Yeah, when I said "So & So" & meant just any timer. In your case, the timer you need to use is, "sea". Right now, you just have timer, "520" to expire. You can't define how long a timer should be in the condition, [b][Scripting] Timer expired.[/b] You've already set the timer, "sea" to expire, so that will work for that script. The script should then look like this: [code]*** IF *** Timer 'sea' has expired. *** THEN *** Command button: 'Command_ConstructAmericaVehicleChinook' is added to all objects of type 'AmericaVehicleChinook' in slot number 1 (1-12).[/code] & then it should work. Also, it's not recommended adding skirmish players to a no rushing map. I've found (in Zero Hour at least) that the computer continually tries to cross the water. For each unit, it search every possible to path it might be able to take, but since it's all blocked, the game will freeze for about a second as it computes a path to get to the other side. After that second, it gives up & sends the unit to the closes place to the other side. But it won't stop trying to go to the other side. This lag will be very annoying. On more thing, in you map, you've got a player, [b]PlyrChina[/b] in the Player List. If you did put a Chinese computer player in the game, the victory window will come up & end the game. So go to the [b]Player List[/b] remove it.

The map played fine as a multiplayer map. We did have the original Chinook when the supply center was built but the china supply truck was in the "slot" to build. Water dropped no prob and timer worked and showed fine. If you want AI players to work continue the procedure of adding areas and pathways to make it a skirmish map.
