Is there anyone with an insane script for the AI. The normal AI in ZH is Booooooooooooooring. I want some challenge. But my question here is: do the scripting implement the name of the generals in your game or mod or whatever you have installed. Or does the scripting just say what the AI no matter what general should build????
Thanx

Scripting is faction related. If you're making a MOD you would be rewriting the default scripts that would load for any map you play. I would suggest first loading the default scripts into a test map and work and test your scripting ideas in game play. When you're happy with what you've scripted, export these scripts and replace the default scripts for your MOD. By loading the default scripts into a map and viewing them in World Builder you'd also get an understanding of how AI scripting is done. I'm sure there are many members who have ideas to help you with this process.

My WorldBuilder is fucked up. It says there are some errors in the mod, that causes it not to load. I have a general called united arabs, toxin general and gla commander in chief. Should the script contain the generals or should it contain the faction America, GLA and China? Or could I reinstall ZH and load WB and edit the script of the mod, I play Destructive Forces 1.21. I could just extract the script without installing all of the mod, right?????
Thanx

I haven't actually made a MOD but I would say that you would modify the scripting for the generals in your MOD. SO the script folders would be United Arabs, Toxin General and GLA. Normally you can extract the default scripts from Programs/EA Games/Generals.../Scripting, where you'd find those skirmish scripts. I would imagine that your MOD has replaced these scripts with those for your new generals. You might try making a copy of these files in a new location, then reloading ZH to get World Builder working. Load a new map, add your custom player names then import these default scripts.
There's got to be people here that have worked through this before. Hope they'll add some input.
