I have just installed it, and I can't figure out how to build anything. I have no workers when I start a skirmish map, and all I see is a beacon. How do I play?
EDIT: Naval War works just fine.

It has a MCV System u should try unistalling it and reinstalling it

Just select the beacon and push the two buttons in the commandset or just hit [A] and [D] after selection of the beacon. Than the skirmish will start.

IS THERE NO WAY WHATSOEVER THAT YOU CAN CREATE A MAC VERSION OF THE TPOHW 0.8.0 MOD????
Many in the mac and linux community wish to play your awesome mod, but have no way of getting it, ESPECIALLY SINCE THE .EXE VERSION DOESNT WORK!!!!!!!!!!! Please fix this as for people of such inginuity, it seems the guy in charge of the installer kinda ****ed up. Please address the issues!!!!!

I never thought about a version that could be used with mac or linux. But I will upload an update soon. Just one thing to be sure: are Linux and Mac able to read .rar or .zip?
To the installer:
It works fine, but I guess it has some complications with ZH of the First Decade pack. Also you can't use the installer if your ZH is cracked or the registry is damaged.

Yes, we can read .rar and .zip .... just make sure its in its folder or heirarchy state, as the .exe installer in almost impossible to access from the mac os side. Thank you for your patience and your time... your work is phenominal!

press the buttons A and D on your keyboard, they are shortcuts
Posted by: DetoNato - Friday, February 22, 2008 12:08:58 PM
As randomperson said [A] and [D] are just shortcuts. Just select the flare an press A and D. Note that you have to choose the game mode by setting the money and you can't play the Mod if you use a custom map with scripts like AOD or something.
May there are some scripted maps which will work, but thats not for sure...

I used a file in the ZH directory to change how much money i start out with. Will it stil work? (I installed on first decade)
EDIT: I tried re-installing the WHOLE game. Now guess what it says, ERROR.

You said in the other threads you got the game working. After that why you reinstalled it? And WTF is that crap you mean with "I used a file in the ZH directory to change how much money i start out with."
Anyway, if you reinstall the whole game (including Generals) you have to update BOTH games. Only if you have 1.04 for ZH you should install and play the mod. BE SURE THAT THERE IS NO OTHER MOD INSTALLED!!! And dont implement files if you are not experienced with this.

Also when uninstalling, you should check to make sure that the Generals/Zero Hour Program Files folders are completely empty before installing again. The uninstallers will sometimes leave mod-related files in place, so unfortunately reinstalling does not necessarily mean you have a clean install.

i had to re-install it because I un-install the mod because i decided to wait till the C&C3 version comes out the i installed the VGO mod which i have installed 2 times before now it dosnt work. Plus MSS folder doesnt want to be deleted. Dont yell at me im just having problems with the mod.

Sorry, for yelling you. That wasn't meant to be personal.^^
As for the C&C3 version: Models are still in progress. Also we think about the gameplay of each fraction. Every one requires a totally different gameplay. So much for the planed progress.^^

Yeah I think ill wait for C&C3 version to come out. When do you think it will be released?
