Not having the game myself i do not know what it's like but i have read up on all the factions and units and it looks really awesome. Esplecially the graphics![open_mouth]
But then being me. I went to look at what capability's the worlbuilder released for it had. And from what i've read and seen it is very simular to that of the Zero-Hour worldbuilder...
Can someone please post a screenshot and tell me a bit about it. The tools, how easy it is to navigate and use.
Thanks

I think this should be asked in Custom Maps section for C&C3, [url]http://www.cncgeneralsworld.com/forums/forum.asp?FORUM_ID=55[/url]

Yeah sorry. I'm still getting used to the forum.
So, can anyone give me a screenshot and some info on how easy it is to use, what you can do e.g Scripting missions or intros?
Thanks[wink]

I'm not an expert (I just make multiplayer-skirmish maps)and I'm certainly new to CNC3 Worldbuilder but I'll try to see what I can do. By the way, did you already download the CNC3 Worldbuilder? Because if you did, all the things mentioned below would probably be known to you already.
Anyway, CNC3WB is indeed very similar to its Generals (ZH) counterpart; so you'll get the hang of it very quickly if you're accustomed to using the latter.
This is a yellow zone themed map that I've been working on recently. As you can see; the tools, menus, just about everything are the same with the ZHWB (with some minor additions). Even most of the hotkeys are the same.

I haven't been to the ZHWB for a while so I really can't tell the minor additions besides being able to add fog to the game. It's not really fog, it's more like adding a tinge to the map.

It's when you zoom out that you notice the tinge become fog.

As for scripting for missions, that's no longer my area. Though, I must say, adding the AI for skirmish maps is a lot easier than before. All you have to do is establish the player's starting point with the waypoint tool, rename that dot player_#_start, then go to edit player list add the skirmish players and that's it. You don't need to make perimeters or attack paths for the AI anymore (that's for skirmish, at least).
I hope that gave you even just a bit of info. I'm sorry if I couldn't have given more or if you already knew about this.

THanks alot Specific.[+1]
No need to be sorry at all[sad]. You are right, it's almost exactly like the Generals World Builder.[sunglasses]
I am happy that there's no need for InnerPerimeters, Outer Perimeters and attack paths for AI's like in the ZHWB. That was irritating.[disappointed]
I bet the scripting layout in the worldbuilder is roughly the same as Zero-Hour's. Well at least i hope so.
Thanks again man.[sunglasses][+1]
P.S: I don't know wether that map is your's but to whoever made it. Way to go. You took time, effort and patience with that one. It's gonna be a treat to play by the looks of it[wink]
I can't wait to get making maps again in ZH. Some computer spec issues to sort first though[angry][sunglasses]
