Is it possible to modify various elements in cnc3 like you can in cncGenerals?.....I mean like for example changing the range or destructive power of a weapon etc. I enjoyed doing that in cncGenerals but after quickly looking at some of the "BIG" files in cnc3, I don't see any coding simular to that which you would find and manipulate in cncGenerals. Am I missing somthing or is it simply not possible?? Also, does anyone know of a trainer(s) for cnc3? thanks

If I'm not mistaken it's not possible in thesame way as you did it in ZH. EA plans to release some kind of modding kit which will make it possible to mod the game, until then, if i'm not mistaken, it's not possible to mod the game.

ha ha .........It's alot more to do with just puting my personal touch on various elements. Have you ever wished that a weapon or unit was just a little more like "this" or "that" ???.........besides, even if I do things that tip the balance, you got to ask yourself, what country doesn't improve their armed forces if they can afford to do so??.My scientists are constantly hard at work developing new and improved technologies.[smile] cheers

You've explained the modding part, now explain the trainer [stuck_out_tongue]

I'm sorry, I didn't orginally see that quote.............I use trainers most often to do exactly what their name implies......I find it useful to be able to experience and explore a weapon or unit or whatever without the the threat of being annialated until I develop a good feel.........I would think much like is done in real military training with simulators and war games.....Hey if the trainer does somthing like produce units without any wait time, I might even use it in combat as my scientists can develop this type of techology. Remember, this is "botmasworld" ........... and don't forget; "everything is fair in love and war".[+1]

botmasworld would be better with modding as opposed to trainers. [wink]
