Absolute newbie here. I tried to install the MeatGrinder mod but after following the instructions on how to install the MeatGrinder mod I get an Problem with Shortcut box that says:
The name "C:\Program Files\EAGames\Command and Conquer Generals\generals.exe -mod MeatGrinder\MeatGrinder.big" specified in the target box is not valid. Make sure the file name and path are correct.
Any help and explanation of proper targeting, or if you would point to an article that explains these topics in newbie language would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

hmm try this (if you arent already?): uninstal or delete this mod in generals directory , if you cant completlely then you should reinstall the game and MAKE SURE you patch it to 1.07 version (latest). Then try again , and give some more detils about this
I've never heard of this mod, but try to get the .big file in the C:\Program Files\EA Games\Command and Conquer Generals.

Thanks for the help in this matter. I tried putting the big file in the EA Games\Command And Conquer Generals file and set the target to it but it didn't work. I can't read which version of Generals I have either, but I have updated this week. It's no problem if I can't get this mod, but I would like to know how to disable the superweapons in this game like the CnC Red Alert 2.

I don't think you can specify a path with the -mod command line. You'll have to place it in the [My Documents]\Command and Conquer Generals Data\ folder.

Thanks again to all respondents in this matter. It is very nice that you all would take time to help someone with their mods. I wasn't successful with either of the suggestions and have moved on to other games. I will attempt to meet someone with some modding experience in order to start gaining some experience in modding.
