Whats up guys, i have windows media player version 10 i believe, and it came up offering me an opportunity to upgrade to windows 11. so i did, but when i did so, and reatrted my computer and all, it said that my software was invalid and that i would need to purchase a 150 dollar key or something like that, its reall messsed up, now i can not even acces windows media player, it just popos up with the message asking me to validat my software everytime i try to view it, ANY AND ALL HELP IS APPRECIATED

Making Windows Media Player work like a charm is to:
* Uninstall Windows Media Player
* Download Winamp

nvm, i just did a roll back and got the hole problom fized, what i did was
go into add remove
and cliked change on Windows Media Player 11, and then i just did the rollback feature to get it back to media player 10
in case anyone elses has this problem

try downloading it through Windows Update (if you have a legit version) the way you described is how it screwed up my computer too
