I love to play Generals Zero hour, and I downloaded the real threat mod for it to try something new. I downloaded it, extracted it and installed it where it is supposed to be installed, but the game is exactly the same. No changes to any of the armies. Am I missing something? Something that needs to be activated maybe? please help.
Also, whats up with the lag? I have an Nforce 5 SLI mother board, AMD 64 3000+, 2gb ddr400, and dual PCI express Nvidia 6600 video cards. I run everquest with ease and i get lag with generals. I even turn off all programs not in use. Max use of ram from generals is 900mb. I've had to turn my settings way down. Any Ideas?.

On the Real Threat issue: the changes are just complements; it's not a total conversion. For instance, look at the GLA Airfield, or the USA's ability to call in air strikes with Col. Burton. Are those present in your installation?

No, there is no gla air field and col. burton can not call an air strike. The game is exactly as it was... I spent a couple hours checking every aspect to see if anything had changed.

You haven't installed it to the Generals folder instead of the ZH have you?

Nope...I checked that too..It installed in Zero hour...I also downloaded the file again and reinstalled again...still nothing.

That's odd. Are there any new files in your Zero Hour directory (i.e., are you sure the installation wasn't hindered by another program) and are you running a ZH 1.04?
