Will the Slave Miner be as the one in RA2/YR? Like there will be Slaves coming out to gather resources? I'm just wondering how will you implement this? Something like a moving Supply Depot structure? I hope you guys make this work as it is in YR. And about the Apocalypse tank...I think it should be as big as the Overlord. It's one sweet tank, and it should take a stand against its Chinese counterpart.[wink]

Well, the Apoc and Overlord are comprable in firepower.... And we have a relatively good Slave Miner system -- kind of like the mobile supply depot thing you mentioned, with slaves coming out.

Luckily, I was able to get a fairly good system working for the Slave Miner. The slaves themselves are completely automated; they will run to the nearest supply source within their resource-scanning range or follow the Slave Miner if none can be found. The slaves spawn and regenerate automatically, too. However, the Slave Miner must be built at or ordered to move to a spot reasonably close to supplies.

Does the Slave Miner have a protection gun turret?

i think it has a gun turret but i'm not 100% sure on that.

Yes, it does.

I can't wait for a screenie on that one. Say, will you have new infantry models for the slaves or you'll be using the GLA worker?
Well, the Apoc and Overlord are comprable in firepower....
Pls, pls make it as big as the Overlord.[blush] It would look really great for an Apocalypse tank to run-over whimpy light tanks, joke![sunglasses] But seriously, the Apocalypse should be capable of running over tanks just like the Overlord. And if it'll be the size as it will be in the screenie, it would look weird for it to run-over tanks as big as it is.[skull] And you guys will still have its anti-air missiles, right?

when is this mod due out?

We have no official release date, but I would estimate mid-2005
But seriously, the Apocalypse should be capable of running over tanks just like the Overlord.
I'm not sure if we would want that. Crushing other tanks would make the Apocalypse more like the Overlord--something we want to avoid. Such a feautre was never added to the Apocalypse in YR as well.
But And you guys will still have its anti-air missiles, right?
Yes, those have already been added. EDIT: Thanks, Incia, for pointing out an ambiguity in my post.

CommieDog the Battle Fortress on Yuris revenge could crush enemy tanks.

But the Apoclypse Tank couldn't...that's what we're talking about Incia.

Will the slaves show up as individual units on the radar?

Ooops, my mistake.[disappointed] The Apocalypse in RA2 wasn't capable of running over on tanks. But anyway...I just hope you make it bigger than other tanks but smaller than the Overlord.[grin]
