Hello,
I'm finaly back! And I have a small present for all of you: the latest screenshots. The last one shows the phoenix fire (Level 1)
The Heros & Zeros Update is canceled 'cause I now can contine the Apocalypse draft. That means the next Beta of TPoHW is 2.0
It will add lots of gametypes like Headhunter, Domiation, Airfights, AOD, Coop-Challenge, Navy War, Infantry War, World power and Spacefights. Further more it adds about 40(!!!) Generals within 8 factions, lots of new units, completly udated models and better balanced warfare.
A Demo of TPoHW will coming soon. Its about the navy war mode.

Your work is very impressive, the particle effects, the models and skins,(At least, the pieces that aren't EAs that I notice in there.) mostly all of it. -- You definetly make quality material. I really look forward to the next version of the mod!

Wow. Nothing but High Praise from me DetoNato. Amazing work. Some of those screens blew me away. Unlike most mods out there, you sucessfully made models and skins and particle effects that look like they belong in the game. They blend into the background and the game's atmosphere beautifully. The only question I have is this: Why didn't Generals World host you sooner? :) Keep up the amazing work, as I know I'm not the only one awaiting the release of this mod.

Your mod is awesome, a few things though... you should move to revora.net , they have much better forums, not to mention they are far more popular. Some of the units are WAAYY to big. Other then finishing the mod, everything is top notch[+1] please tell me the mod isn't dead[open_mouth]

Well, and CnCGeneralsWorld.com is the Headquarter for the English speaking community like CnCHQ.de for the German one. I have lots of outpost in other forums. So I have enought to do to keep it up to date. And I also need enought time to do my work. If I would make more outposts I would need a community manager for my mod... And I never said that the mod is dead [wink]
The reason why I stopped for ZH is the ****in buggy SAGE-Engine of Generals. It makes it harded than it should be (e.g. the upgrade limit, shadow leaks and many more hardcoded stuff).

That is easy enough to fix: just select all of an object's verticies and use the 'weld' option.

I already tried it. The SAGE engine doesnt support high-poly models. I tried to fix it with decal shadows, but a) its to many work to do b) it looks terrible ('cause its not dynamic)

This are the first pictures of the fortress mode. As the name says you will build up a fortress. For this a Citadel and a wall be build from startup. In fortress mode a rush in the first minutes of game is almost impossible 'cause the units can be destroyed at the wall easyly. Instead of this you should be carful since your enemy is able to upgrade the wall with turrets and units. A player lost the game if he lost the citadel. So protect this structure - no matter the costs!
Further more the Lance Strike, is done now and shows the new light effects.

2DetoNato: Yes, the model is quite crappy because it was 100% made from fancy without any prototypes or arts at all. I can make a skin, but I still haven't learned how to lay it on the model, in our former modding team the other people were responsible for skin-laying.

Well, I think the V2 launcher could by name a famous CnC unit. Quality is beyond generals engine, made only for looking at. But still I can optimize this for the game.

The original Luna-M (V2 in real life) IS a little bit plain from sides :P . As all missile-launchers (they don't need heavy aka "Overlord" armor)

Today we would like to show you 6 new screenshots and this time even 2 new renders. Screenshot # 1 shows the new super weapon, the Pandora-Cannon, in action and # 2 shows the devastation of it. # 3 and 4 shows the Plasma Cannons of the forttress wall, while 5 and 6 the fortress gun tower and the bunker of the American fortress. The 2 renders presents the Ramjet tank and the Omega Soldier, which is a boss renegade like the Boss Core Defender.
Further more the Demo will not use the dozers for building any more for the 2 main fractions. That means the you will build up your base like in old C&C's - by construction yards. Also we decided to let the normal ZH factions and generals stay in the demo since we want to enable skirmish fun games and to get our AOD working with the mod. ;) And now the demo will have its own subtitle: [b]Taste of Destruction[/b].
