I did'nt Know there were episodes to Half-Life 2. Or are you talking about the "Chapters" in it?

BL4D3, they released a chapter in the Halflife Saga. It's available through steam and offers a 4-6 hour continuation from half life 2. They plan more episodes in the series before "Half Life 3".
From what I've read it's a great game. I'm cheap and I'm waiting for the price to drop. Actually, I don't have a job this summer and I can't get one until I get back from vacation - so the game will have to wait.
3 things I have noticed so far that I liked:
1. I have never played HL1, and they included HL1 deathmatch. I really want HL1: Source to come out with a cheaper price or bundled with something cause I really want to play it. I only bought HL2 January 2005 due to good reviews and I liked it.
2. Zombines. You will understand their name after Alyx talks about them. [wink]
3. Its a standalone game, no need to install HL2 for it.
By the way Luckie, its only $20.

AA, I know that it's only $19.99. I want to wait until it's $14.99.
Just go to your local video game store and buy HL1. The graphics arent bad and they hold up nowadays.
Or try one of those online game swapping sites.

If I can pay $20 for Episode 1, and probaly Episode 2 of Half-Life 2, I don't see why I should pay $20 for an outdated game, thats all... (Half-Life: Source.)

Halflife source is an updated game. They updated it the source engine I think. But they're coming out with Project Mesa soon or w/e and thats an HDR remake of HL1,

If they do, I will go for it.
EDIT: I just beat Episode 1 yesterday, and, it was alot shorter than I expected. At the end the citadel is explodeing and your in it too, then the credits appear. Can't wait for episode 2.

It's not worth $20, I played it for about an hour and got bored once they took the improved grav gun off me; that gun was neat, you pick up and shoot around the combine guy and those fireballs from that machine gun that when it hits something they disintegrate in slow motion, once I lost that the game got boring. It also turns out that very few people who did buy it actually completed it, the stats are somewhere on their site.
