This idea is open to everybody who knows how to mod and plays CnC3 and Half-Life 2 and has Steam.You can also modifiy(not completely change it, that is) the Storyline and add Generals/ZH, Red Alert , Dune, and any other(Custom or from another RTS game"with Premission of the Company that made the game it came from") factions if you wish.
This is a mod idea for Commander&Conquer 3:Tiberium Wars or Kane's Wrath
After the defeating the invaders/Scrin,NOD and GDI began experimenting with their portal technology.2 years after the Scrin were defeated, NOD managed to get a portal working.Kane ordered the NOD Commander who helped seige control of the Alien Towet during the Third Tiberium War to go through the portal to see where it leads.The NOD scouts arrive outside of a city with a Large Tall building in the center and no signs of Tiberium infestation.But instead they find something a little bit disturbing.
Half-Life 2 Universe
2 weeks have pasted since the end of the Seven Hour War.Combine have defeated the Human nations and took over Earth,relocated all its population to cities and setted up a Brutal Police Force called the Civil Protection and the Combine Overwatch.In City 17, the Combine have noticed strange energy readings that are similar to the portals they used to invaded earth during the Seven hour war.The send a team of Overwatch Soldiers with hunters and Striders to investgate.They run into a large unknown human force with technology that the Combine have never seen before.The the team is soon forced to fall back to the city.
NOD attacks City 17
After being notified of this new world,Kane orders the Commander to start building a base to help seige control of city.After the base is complete,The Nod commander launches a Assault against the force which they have now indentified as the "Combine" in City 17.In the first 2 days of the assault NOD has Gain Control of Half of the City.
GDI Arrives.
GDI soon gets their own portal opened and sends their own commander throught to scout the portal arrving in the outskirts of a Town called Ravenholm.Which is infested by Headcrabs and Zombies.GDI soon gains control of the town and set up a base of operations in the town.GDI soon realizes that their enemy,The Brotherhood of NOD has also arrived in this new world and is fighting a force called the "Combine"And soon discovers the truth behinde the Combine and uncovers a large Resistance base near Ravenholm called Black Mesa West.GDI teams up with the Resistance to help combat the Combine and the Brotherhood of NOD.
Gordon Freeman arrvies.
GMAN has signed a contract from the resistance to seend Gordon Freeman to help combat the Brotherhood of NOD and the Combine.after Arrving in City 17,Gordon Freeman soon meets the GDI and Resistance forces who have been attacking City 17 for the past 3 weeks.And meets Dr.Kleiner,Eli Vance,Barney Calchome, and Alyx Vance.
Combine-NOD Alliance
Soon realzing that the GDI-Human Resistance Alliance may take over the city.IF they continue fighting each other,Kane and the City Seventeen Administrator,Dr.Breen sign a Cease Fire Agreemeant.To help combat GDI and the Resistance.and meanwhile NOD has seeded Tiberium in the new world.
SCrin Reinvades.
The Scrin have been observing the fighting from a safe distance.The Scrin Overlord orders the Forman who invaded earth during the Third Tiberium War to attack City 17 and the Tiberian Earth and wipe out all Human forces.
Combine attacks Tiberian Earth.
The Combine soon opens it's own portals to attack the GDI Controlled Blue Zones in the Tiberian Universe.The resistance soon sends Gordon Freeman with Alyx vance and a Team of GDI Commandos to help combat the Combine Offensive in Tiberian Earth.(Beginning of Mod)
You chose your side and help that side win the war.You can choseThe Combine,The Brotherhood of NOD,GDI, or the Resistance(and another faction you may add)
"Prepare for Unforseeable Conquesences"-GMAN Half-Life 2:Episode 2
New Creatures(Like Viceriods)
Zombies/heacrabs(Normal,fast, and Posion
Antlions(Workers,Soldiers,and Guards)
The combine will use the same weapons they use in Half-Life 2 and the episodes(Superwapon I prefer would be a Tatical Dark-Energy Bomd.)
The resistance will use weapons from Tiberian Sun/FS and Tiberian Dawn and the same weapons they used in Half-Life 2.(Superweapon I prefer would be a massive 3 barrled Artilley cannon that can fire HE/EMP rounds.
GDI forces have been spread thin recently between the 2 worlds and now started using Cloning techology to help with offensive and defensive operations and Use Heavy Armor and Technology to their advantage over NOD and Combine Forces.
NOD Forces will use Propganda to get additional soldiers and use Tiberium Weapondry.

I also like the idea for the mod.
I have done some modifications on Zero Hour so I can try to do some coding but I stink modeling and I don't own Half-Life 2

You dont have to own copy of Hl2 in order to make mod for cc3, do you? Or are you unfamilliar with Hl universe and you have some catching up to do?

I need some catching up to, the only time I played was about 5 min at a friends computer.
But I also will look if there is a way to use the HL2 models in cnc3.
Another question what do you think is best for the mod CNC3 or KW?
I was the leader of an HL2-themed Zero Hour mod a few years ago, but I couldn't find any dedicated staff to help me with the project. You're a little late with the idea, but it still stands, I haven't seen anybody create an HL2 RTS running on a C&C game yet.
I'm pretty sure that I still have a couple of vehicle models such as the Combine APC and Combine Helicopter lying around on my older system...

His idea is original becouse se preposed game where characters from Hl would be in war with characters from cc. You only wanted to make mod with generals engine, where you have sides from hl fighting each other, no cc enemies included.

Is that not problem for most of mods? No one who is good at making games will work for free. Especially if you dont have any right to that game after you make it and someone can freely copy it.

Actually, there are people with quite a bit of skills making mods out there. Take the Tiberium Dawn mod for C&C3 for example, they're doing quite a good job if you ask me. Plus, making these things is good for yourself too; you get to keep something that you can show someone of your capabilities if you're entering higher academic courses or applying for jobs in that particular field later in life.

A few months ago, Mastermind from the Asylum mod project actually joined EA Games.
