Follow this link and get the BFMEII/C&C Mod SDK kit if you have 3DS Max 7. EA BFMEII/C&C Mod SDK Page Otherwise follow the following... The main program you'll be needing is a 3D modelling program called GMax in which can be downloaded from here: TurboSquid GMax Page Since the SAGE uses the Westwood 3D (.W3D) file formats for their models, you'll require the RenX plugin. This plugin is bundled with the Renegade Tools Pack which can be downlaoded from here: Download Link To extract files from the game's compressed files, you'll require a .BIG extracted. A commonly used one known as "FinalBIG" can be downloaded from here: Download Page Download Link To import W3D files into RenX, you'll need a W3D importer. You have two options here; Coolfile's W3D importer is the most widely used importer in the community, and another importer that, although very old and no longer supported, still works. If you find problems with one importer, then you can easily try the other one. (Coolfile's W3D Importer) Download Link - Instructions can be found in the ReadMe file included. (Seagal's W3D Importer) Download Link - Instructions can be found in the ReadMe file included. A good tutorial site in which I would recommend for beginner modellers for C&C Generals would be Killasmod which can be accessed from here: Killasmod Homepage [EDIT: Moved to Tutorials forum -- CommieDog]
what fille do i put a mode in?
A model needs to be put in GeneralsZeroHour\Art\W3D The textures go inti GeneralsZeroHout\Art\Textures You cannot copy and paste models. It will make the model disappear.

Uhh... You can copy and paste them... Just don't rename them after exporting.

I can't download the RenX tools. The download gets stuck at 94%-95%. If anyone has the tools, can they send it to me?
