Hello everyone, The new Topic is for public sources created for Modellers, Skinners, Scripters, ect who want to release small projects like the "Removed Singeplayer" Menu from Commiedog. I will release some models of my mod time and time again too. @Admin I think it would be better to stick this topic, isnt it?

So, here is my first contribution for this topic. The next 2 models are some old one (battleship and space command center). But the third one is to my newest public model. I agree with DetoNato's idea to have a stickied topic for public downloads. I have here a file similar to the generals.csf file, but it's in STR format. You've probably used an Map.str file for map making, now all the text for the game is in that format! Just download the file & put in into the "Data" folder of your game directory. Since I found these files I was using the csfeditor.exe for editing the "generals.csf". But whenever I tried modifying it, it would scramble the hint strings the come up under the score screen after finishing a game. This STR file is much more reliable on notepad with a much faster search. But when I originally downloaded it the text for 3 maps wasn't there, so you'd see "MISSING: 'Defcon6'" instead of "Defcon 6". My guess is that the guy who ever converted the file from CSF to STR did so without have the latested patch installed. The second poster of that topic said that he saw that the Air Force Generals' title was wrong too. (EA probably changed it in their next patch.) Also, in some of the strings, you'll see quotes on either end of a word or word phrase, that makes the game think that is the end of the string, so the rest of it is cut off. I modified the STR file so the quotes are now ' instead of ". I've also modified the hints too, making them apply more. If you notice any other text wrong, let me know & I'll make the changes.

I made a bunch of WW2 vehicles and aircraft a long time ago. they're low quality, but they work. Its 5 megabyte, and changes the USA faction only. [[link removed, see the edit below]] If you want to play the mod, just put the INI and Art files into the main Generals directory, and click replace for the INI. Note that you may want to backup your INI file, in case you want to play any other mod. Edit; the file no longer exists at the site i put it on. If you want the stuff, pm me and i'll get it to you as soon as i can.
