I recently joined the community, id love to get more replay ability out of Zero Hour. I found the files inside FinalBIG and see the health and damage, but if I change it inside finalbig, do I need to put it somewhere or is the change instant? I don't want to cause a crash the first time I do something. Thanks ahead of time for any help[blush]

Welcome to the community! The things you change inside FinalBIG will be instant, but I do recommend you backup your .big files before you start editing them. Why don't you want to cause a crash? You will only learn from mistakes :) Most of the time you can find the answers yourself, I'm not trying to be rude, but you won't get that feeling of accomplishment when you ask someone else to solve your problems. I hope you enjoy your stay and keep on modding ;)

I want to learn basics and guidelines to follow before I go messing stuff up too bad, I work too much so I like not spending my time trying to fix a problem I could avoid. I wanna learn how effecting health and damage modifiers on units, then learn the renx and others to make my own units in the future. I figured Zero hour could be a decent place to learn some coding before I proceed with my own games on Unreal engine.

I wouldn't edit the big files at all. It's kinda pointless when you can use INI files.

yes, just export it to the right folder and change it there.
