I am asking how I can be able to do such a thing. I saw a post regarding this but when I did it, the sounds do not play. I placed all the sound files (not the .big) into their appropriate folders in the Data file in the main directory, nothing big happened other than me being able to hear most of the ZH sounds. I am currently making a shellmap, the sounds I want to play are from Generals and I would very much love to use them. On a side note: I am trying to play a Chinese speech sound at a certain time after an American one, both are timed. When the first one is triggered, I wait for the second one to but nothing plays, which is odd. Is it because I am currently using the American side, that this somehow conflicts? The timer and speech scripts are both in Neutral.

I explained this in a post here.

Well, it requires me to do a little more but to make the sounds work, no problem. Thanks. Also, for the map.ini, do I just create a configuration text file called "map.ini" and have it sit in the same folder as my map itself? I never messed with things like this before so it'll be new to me.

Yes, but make sure it's "map.ini" and not "map.ini.txt"

It is. I have the file extension present for that very reason. :P Simply paste the code in your post (except replace it with the sounds I want) into the .ini? I don't need any introduction code or whatever?

Yep just copy paste you don't need anything else.
