This is so funny, really you fall off your chair from laughing... Global warming is a hoax, fact is that all planets in our solar system have more extremes in weather and that is because of our changing Sun... When the Truth began to come out about the global warming hoax they changed the name to climate change all of a sudden, just to save their skins, it is so funny to see those rats crawl in their own lies... Planet Earth has been changing for billions of years and it keeps changing to the end of planet Earth, a small group of people just want to make money of it and a large group of people is dumb enough to buy the bullsjit... Propaganda is a powerful tool if you have a dumbed down civilization... An expedition with pro global warming people went out on a northern expedition to see how all the ice is disappearing and the expedition had to be cancelled because of “unprecedented” thick summer ice, the coast guard has never seen so many ice ever, lmao this is so funny, I would have given a lot of money to see their faces, off course they blame the “unprecedented” thick summer ice to climate change, it is becoming a slapstick for real... [/quote] What I was trying to make clear dear klingon is that the global warming nutters all of a sudden changed the name when the Truth came out about their con job, the climate is always changing and they connected global warming to climate change to make climate change seem like a bad thing, they made us feel guilty while we the people didn't cause the Earth to warm up with our cars and industry, they made us feel guilty so they can make a sjitload of money with ´green´ products coming from their factories, it is propaganda pur sang, Al Gore predicted that the ice caps would be without ice in 2014, Al Gore made a sjitload of money with his con job, the ice caps are growing and the more they grow, the more the sunlight will reflect and that results in even more ice, they were trying to sell us global warming while the opposite will happen, a mini ice age is on our doorstep, if you think im nuts then I suggest you do your homework... Prepare for more extremes in weather, record cold, record heat, record rain, record snow, record tornado strength and record hurricane strength... Greetz

Those extremes should take 100s if not 1000s of years. Human 'cars and industry' as you put it are the things that are speeding it up. While there are some who do indeed profit from the hype, there are many more who don't profit and spend a lot of money trying to mitigate the damage which WE DID DO. The name change has no more meaning than changing the name of a chocolate bar.

The correct term is climate change. Global warming was the old name but it didn't properly describe the effects. The only people who still call it global warming are those fighting against the idea and they use incidents like this to back up their point. The issue isn't that the earth is getting hotter. The issue is that human activities are altering the natural weather system of the planet. Unless snow is normal in California, this could be an example of climate change. Whether you believe in climate change or not, people should realise that attempting to protect the environment is not some great conspiracy to stop them driving cars or whatever. All it is is making sure that those cars don't cause too much damage. Either way attempts to find replacement energy sources such as solar and wind aren't just due to environmental concerns. We are running out of oil and coal and so we will have to replace them anyway. The fact that they do less damage to the environment is just a bonus.
