Hey,
I have been trying to play The Forgotten however with Origin it is realy hard to download it. After I installed it I got the error ''ssleay32.dll''. I found out that others had this to and they solved it because of a beta launcher. But it seems I can't download them anymore. After that I tried multiple 'solutions'. I made several launchers with ' -modconfig 'C: etc in them and with ui-. I also did that within Origin but it stil won't work. Do you guys have any other solutions I can try out?

The missing ssleay32.dll is mainly due to antivirus software removing the file during the installation process because it's "corrupted"; or so I have read. I copied my ssleay32.dll from my C&C 3 folders and attached it in a zip file below.
Download this, and extract it to your desktop. Take the ssleay32.dll and put in into this directory:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Command and Conquer 3 TW and KW\Core
I hope your game works after that! :)

It does not work for me, also the file was never deleted in my folder.
When I replace it it still says the same error.

Huh, really? That's strange, because I did about an hour of research and that's what the problem usually was..... Weird. Then I'm not quite sure what else I can do.

Is it maybe bugged because I have windows 10? It seems that is also quite often the issue.
Btw thanks for responding.

I'm jumping in pn this with just general knowledge so sorry if I'm not helpful. If you didn't the first time, try running the installer with admin privileges. I don't know if running it in compatibility mode would help. If the issue is indeed with the file beijg dinged by antivirus software make sure it's not quarantineed in a way that the file exists but is not accessible. Sorry, I don't have a lot of experience with Origin

Renaissance does point out a some good basic solutions. So far we have these:
1. You could run it as Administrator.
2. You could run it in compatibility mode.
3. Download a fresh ssleay32.dll file (as I posted above) and insert it in the directory.
Through some more research I found an additional solution that could be worth giving a try!
You can download the Origin fixed launchers at: http://bibber.eu/downloads/cnc-ultimate-collection-launchers/
And see if that will fix anything. If that doesn't work I'll see if I can poke around some more and see if I find anything worth noting.
