Hi I used Rgen to edit the models of the game and is not working at all nothing is changing it kept using the old model even If i deleted it but just a question if I rename the model? what do I do I tried that and it was just invisible? Could there be a model already and needs reskinning? Do I have to make another skin? if so How do I do it please help

Questions: 1) Are your models are in .W3D? 2) Did you place your model in Art/W3D? 3) How many characters long is your model file? It must be equal or less than 15 characters. No spaces. 4) Have you applied the texture on the model before converting to W3D?

can smb please tell me what "Rgen" he's talking about? 'cause i need to edit model too, and Gmax is jusr.. not usable.

Not Rgen I meant RenX or Gmax, but though which is more recomended Any link to information file where I must learn to study 3D editing model in Generals Zero Hour?

marvelous tutorial!! XD "open model. now lets.." wow, stop! how to open model?! that's the main question, as Gmax doesn't open .w3d and installed Renx makes no difference.

Its because you don't load .W3D files on GMax normally. Do you have the 'Import W3D' option though? Try looking at the menus.

Try looking at the menus.[/quote]checked all the menus, no w3d mentioned. though while installing Renx folder of Gmax was stated correct, and i'm sure some files were installed in it.
