I want to play the red alert 1 mod and i think i have done everithing acording the instructions the mod is install in documents-red alert 3-mods, i open the control painel and clik "game browser" then click mods and the red alert 1.2 mod is there, i lauch the game but instead of boot the red alert 1 mod it boots the red alert 3 game.
could anyone help me ?

It's hard to say what the problem is without looking at your computer. But have you navigated to the skirmish menu? I think the title screen was unchanged in the mod, but it's been awhile since I played so I may be misremembering.

Origin version? That complicates things, as I have the disc version.
But have you been able to run other mods?

it´s my 1st time playng mods, i bought the game from origin just to play red alert 1 3d mod.

Ok, here is what I did:
1. In Origin right click on 'Red Alert 3' and select 'Game properties'
2. Add "-ui" in the Command Line Arguments box and click OK
3. Check if the Command Line Arguments are saved
4. In Windows go to Documents and add a new Folder "Red Alert 3" if it does not exists.
5. Create a new subfolder "Mods" if it does not exists.
6. Move or copy the modfolder to this location
So now you have "Documents\Red Alert 3\Mods\TheRedAlert"
7. Play Red Alert 3
8. Click Game Browser in the new screen and click on the tab Mods
9. Select the mod you want to play and Launch Game

We've had a number of issues with the Origin version (for this and The Forgotten), but ZeroMD's approach above seems to work. Definitely try that.

I finally got it to work, but the game freezes at the end of the 1st mission.
is there any fix for this problem ?

The mod doesn't have missions. It is skirmish only.
