If I want to use a W3D file for a particular Zero Hour map, can I just put it in the map folder, or do I have to .ini mod or do some sort of workaround?

I'm pretty sure you have to mod the whole game since it only reads the files from Art/W3D folder

What if I create an Art folder in the map folder, then another one called W3D inside of that, then put the file in there?

dunno, if you look at the .big files, there is a small .txt that says 'this file is here to make the Art/W3D folder' or something like that. you can try making it this way then I guess (make an art/w3d, add the files, add the txt file) I doubt it will work though, never seen a 'map exclusive model' before. this method would be more known internet-wide if it worked I guess
