I downloaded this mod today to try it out after a friend of mine kept telling me about it. I'll say that I /am/ pretty impressed with what little of the mod I've been able to play, and I'm trying to keep digging deeper into it to make it a regular thing during gaming sessions.
I own the steam version of C&C3, and use the ui trick to launch the mod. My issue is that when a friend and I try to play, we get an instant 'mismatch and sync' error, and the game refuses to let either of us join the other.
I don't know if this is a SP only mod, and I really hope it's not, but if anyone has any idea as to what could be causing this, I'd appreciate the help.
PS: As you can also hopefully tell, I'm new to these forums and don't exactly know them. If I posted this in the wrong area, I'm sorry. If you'd be kind enough to have a moderator move this topic to the right forum, you'd have my thanks.

It definitely supports multiplayer. It seems to me it's likely that the fact that you have steam is causing the sync issue, because--as you noted--it handles the mod a little differently. Just a guess though, sorry I don't have more.

I know that the Forgotten skirmish maps have some "sync" problems when you try to play them online (regardless if you are playing with Steam). But they can be played with and without the Forgotten mod if you download them separately from "Predatore Map Pack 5+" and copy them into the "Maps" folder as other custom maps.
