hello!
i need a little help with this map. i finally found a way to import the skirmish scripts of contra. but i encounter some problems.
- There is a major lag in the map (other maps run fine even on the highest settings)
- Camera movements, letterbox mode and disable input won't work
- Some SW's won't auto fire when scripts tell them to do (i know that it must not be plyrcivilian since it does not play on the map. but in which folder do i need it to place itthen? I want them to just fire at pointed location, like i did with the particle cannons that block off a passage with their beams, thus preventing the opponent from advancing until something else is destroyed. this is just an example, there are loads of secrets in my map).
- and 1 question: I don't know if the AI will be useful here, but can i increase it's usefulness if it won't?
i would really, really appreciate it if someone could help me out. My map is nearly complete and these things are keeping me from releasing it. i added a example below. and if you get errors about units and such not found. it's because of the contra mod. my map has been made specially for Contra. but you can open it.only some units will not show up.
EDIT: i just saw that the .str file isn't loading properly too.
