Hello everyone!



i have been busy, but now i'm making maps again and i encounter the following problem's.
when i put ANY script in my map, it overrides the AI script and AI won't work anymore.
second one is that when i use script it
*** IF ***
Player '' has units in area 'ICBM Trigger'.
*** THEN ***
Unit 'ParticleCannon1' fires Special power 'SuperweaponParticleUplinkCannon' at Waypoint 'PCT1'.
Unit 'ParticleCannon2' fires Special power 'SuperweaponParticleUplinkCannon' at Waypoint 'PCT2'.
Unit 'ParticleCannon3' fires Special power 'SuperweaponParticleUplinkCannon' at Waypoint 'PCT3'.
Unit 'ParticleCannon4' fires Special power 'SuperweaponParticleUplinkCannon' at Waypoint 'PCT4'.
Unit 'ParticleCannon5' fires Special power 'SuperweaponParticleUplinkCannon' at Waypoint 'PCt5'.
just won't fire, i know it's in plyrcivilian, but i want to make in look like there's no SW's on the map, it's a map with lots of secrets easter eggs and traps.
if you want a more detailed look, i have attached it.
(warning, this map was made for and/or with the CONTRA Zero Hour modification, it can be used without it, but some units and buildings WILL dissapear)

I couldn't find that script in the civilian folder. Plus, you can make the AI work by importing the AI scripts into your map.
If you need help, post in the forum. You'll get help a lot faster than if you send me a PM.

Keep in mind that is referring to the player/folder where you've placed this script. PlyrCivilian is not playing on the map. You are correct is stating that adding any script to player folders other than the Civilian player will result in the default scripts not loading. But if this a human only AOD then that's not a problem. As Annihilationzh mentioned you can import the default scripts into the map if you need to but the AOD player needs to be clearly defined in every script condition i.e. IF this players start position is 5.

1. Worldbuilder crashes when loading the SkirmishScripts.scb or the MultiplayerScripts.scb
2. Where do i put it? in the neutral folder? in the plyrcivilian folder or in the Factions folder?

Then I have two questions for you, are you importing the Contra AI scripts, and have you got auto verify unchecked?

2. Where do i put it? in the neutral folder? in the plyrcivilian folder or in the Factions folder?


They will automatically go into all the relevant folders. For example, SWGs AI will go into SWGs folder. Unless Contra's Creator is as silly as EA who put them all in the wrong folders.

Also note that if using ZH that the default scripts found in the Scripts folder do not account for the Neutral player and thus load out of order. I've attached a ZH copy that should load correctly. IF using Generals, the scripts included with the game will load fine.   AI_Scripts.zip (225kb) downloaded 2 time(s).
