What exactly are you trying to do? Your post is seriously confusing.

the shortcut only works half the time. it worked all the time before i did that.

When you deploy it, what happens? It doesn't show up, or it comes up with an invalid cursor or what?

i've increased the formation of the strike to 3 b3's, does that have anything to do with it?

I've never known it to cause any problems.

would putting the formation number in a different area help?

I doubt it.

would creating a AirF_CarpetBombFromShortcut work?

Did you remove the stock one then?

my appoligez, im trying to make it possible to fire the particle cannon from the command center as well as from the shortcut and the PCU building itself.

Then just put the shortcut button on the command center. Read the above post again, I edited it with a response to the rest of your post.

nothing happens when i use the shortcut. no cursor nothing. when i remove the formation strings it works again.

Post the OCL code and all the code connecting it to the command center.

ok, got the particle cannon to fire from command center, by just adding "FromShortcut" to the end of the line. now i got the shortcut to work on the carpet bomb, but, it only works if the command center is selected first. any ideas on how to fix this?
