I would like to remove faction colors from the game. As in, I would like all my buildings and units to have textures without any kind of faction color.

Is this possible? If so, how can I do it?

It's possible, but it would be far too much work to do it.

Well, do tell. I think faction colors are a barrier to good immersion to the game. How many terrorist cells have neon green uniforms? 😛

Atleast I know what units I'm looking at and who it belongs to though...

Well, you could give them a more realistic faction colour, but it would still be a solid colour. That wouldn't take much work at all. This is a grey colour:



The other option would be via modelling or texturing. Something I don't know much about, but I'd expect that you'd have to edit every unit in the game individually. A mammoth task.
